Keeping up with the chicken experience

Ever since my wife Carolyn and I moved to North Carolina I have wanted to raise chickens. Well this year was the year and boy has it been a lot of fun.  Watching something grow from a little ball of fur into a big brown chicken that runs around the yard is really fascinating. I think the neighbors think I am crazy because I can sit and watch their antics for hours. I am really looking forward to eggs which actually should start in a few weeks.  I will be posting pictures as soon as I can figure out how to do that so stand by
